Laurentius Schlieker and Thilo Plaesser have had a cheerful, appreciative friendship (AMICI=Freunde) since 1985, and in recent years there have been numerous joint projects and concerts. One of the highlights was the improvisation concert "Tango & Gregorianik" at Gerleve Abbey in 2013, from which the music for the present CD recording developed. The joy of playing and spontaneity of Thilo Plaesser's improvisations merge into a unity with the singing of Abbot Laurentius Schlieker, who interprets these songs quasi "first hand".
